It does not purify water.yanlin said that the salt will be left there it is true but there is no water in the cup how do we drink it as the water has evaporated.
I agree with both Yan Lin and Stanley. Yes, it will purify the salt water but what if the water evaporates with certain gases that can cause acid rain?
how do we drink the water droplets?farah the water is normal water with salt added in it, and if what farah said was through then we can't drink the water...
Good discussion but I am curious about the comment made by Farah, regarding acid rain? How is is formed? Is it through the dissolving of harmful substances as the water is evaporating? Go find out guys! What about the rest of 5A, do you agree?
Acid rain is not through the dissolving of harmful substances as the water is evaporating. There are harmful pollutants in the air, when it rains, these pollutants will, mix with the rain, thus it cause acid rain.
Good Yan Lin and Salifian. Acid rain is indeed formed when acidic substances in the air is dissolved in water as the rain fall. Therefore Farah's concern is unfounded.
As for the discussion about the purifying of water, evaporation of sea water leaves the salt behind, only pure water evaporates. Thus, yes, the water cycle purifies our water.
Yes I agree
ReplyDeleteI agree. When you put a cup of salt water under the hot sun,a few hours later there will be only salt in the cup.
