Science - Water and its States

Hi Guys!

Is the following statement true?

Water will change from a liquid to a gas (gaseous state0 when the temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius. Otherwise it will remain a liquid.

Any comments?

  3. I do not agree.If you were sweating and 10min later , you found yourself dry.It do not mean that you are 100 degrees Celsius!

  5. It is false.Water will still evapourate when it is lower than 100'C.

  6. I do not agree!Evaporation take place at any temperature.Example:
    You were sweating and 10 min later,you found yourself not sweating anymore.It does not mean you are 100 degrees Celsius!

  7. Thank you for your opinions. You are correct! Water do evaporate at any temperature. Pure water however, boils at exactly 100 degrees celsius. Do differentiate between boiling and evaporation.
