It is getting exciting now. So many special cases. Why is a square a special rhombus? Why is it also a special rectangle? How is the rectangle a special parallelogram?

No. It is not a parallelogram. Rectangle have right angles whereas the parallelogram does not have it.

No,a rectangle must have 4 right angle but a parallelogram does not.

Why is a square a special rhombus?
ReplyDeleteSquare - all sides are equal,two parallel line, opposite angles are equal.
Rhombus- same as square, all sides are equal,two parallel line, opposite angles are equal.
The most important things: all the angles in a square must be 90*, but all the angles in rhombus may or may not be 90*.
