Hi Yellow Team! It's your turn now.

Consider the storyline below.

60% of the people at a park were adults. 75% of the rest were boys.
There were 140 more adults than girls.

What questions can you ask? Remember to ensure that you can solve your own questions first!

    How many people are there?

    Ans:280
    Girls→40%÷4=10%
    60%-10%=50%
    50%→140
    140x2=280

    7X10%=70(girl)
    (30%+60%)x7=630(adult and boys)
    1:9(simplest form)

    40%÷4=10%
    60%-10%=50%
    50%→140
    10%→140÷5=28 (Girls)
    30%→28x3=84 (Boys)
    60%→28x6=168 (Adults)

    168/3x2=112(adult)
    84/4=21(boys)
    280-(112+21)=147
    147/7=21
    147+21=168
